Not food related but my son passing his GCSE'S that has made me a very proud mum!!!
Congrats to you. My neice has passed all but one of hers. She took them a year early so now has a year to retake and make any improvements. I'm really proud of her.0 -
i did not eat the giant piece of cake with my favorite whipped cream frosting that sat in front of me all night at work.0

Yesterday I was wearing a size 16, today I'm wearing a shirt that didn't fit 2 months ago and today I weighed myself and after 2 months I finally hit 60lbs down.0

What has made me proud is walking to work every morning this week and going back to Taekwondo. I am also proud that my husband is teaming up with me on the path to lose weight and be how we used to be before we got lazy. (We were both sports people prior to being married and parents).:happy:0

I am beaming right now!! My little guy (he's only 3.5) asked me this morning, "Mom, did you just get in from a run?" I said yes. He said, "Daddy is exercising on the treadmill, and I like to exercise by running around and around in the kitchen and my livingroom" ... I LOVE that he is totally noticing this and it's only been less than 2 months. He told me he loves exercising and often will just get up on a whim and start running through the house like he's on a track doing laps ... <3<3 1000 times !! This was totally one of my goals0

This is more like last night, but my bf and I went to applebees. I didn't even workout and I still managed to stay within my daily restrictions! :-) I had water and the chicken dijon while my bf killed bbq wings, slidders, and steak wraps! lol Yay for me!0

I ran for 30 minutes straight.. which was one of my goals way back in May.0

I was driving to work today and two younger guys who I swear were like MAYBE early twenties if that squealed their tires at me while stopped at a red light while staring and smiling. I was sort of disturbed at first....lol then thought ...hey that's a huge compliment! They must think I look way younger than 31!!! lol Needless to say I didn't even acknowledge them ...just thought it was funny. :laugh:0

I achieved my short term goal of dropping into the 180s. 189.8 felt fantastic this morning and gave me the willpower to control my breakfast instead of indulging like I wanted.0

Good for you for dumping the fries! That is a big accomplishment and I'm proud of you.
Today I was proud of myself for NOT getting Nachos Belle Grande at Taco Bell when I took my grandson there. I wanted them sooo bad! I had my 'healthier' fresco tacos instead.0 -
YAY!!! Good for you!!! My proud moment today (it's only 7:00 AM here) was eating a healthy breakst and not just coffee and a pastry!!!0

I completed the 4th day of insanity and I cleaned the kitchen hehe.0

I went to my parents house this morning... Typically means I WILL binge on junk food. Period.
Today I went in armed with a peach I had just bought at the farm.
AND I DIDN'T BINGE. Just to prove I was in control.0 -
Worked out twice once in the morning and then again before bed! I also only ate 1/2 of a my fav donut! Instead of the whole thing0
-
I actually did the second day of a workout program and didn't give up too soon0

Thanks for this post. Lately keep putting self down on you ate bad, why did you eat that, went to gym but didn't burn enough rah rah rah. I need to look more at what has made me proud. I plan to do this everyday instead of putting myself down for having some chocolate.
Today I am proud have eaten really well so far, and now even though don't feel like it am going to the gym for a workout in my new runners.
Big ups to you all for the amazing achievements for the day and thank you for sharing as has helped me celebrate the positives.

Not today (since it is only 0830), but I only packed healthy snacks for my week-long house-sitting trip. And a non-food proud moment: yesterday a client told me that I was gentle and caring to my patients, even when they try and eat me (veterinary tech).0

well, mine was from last night - I choreographed my first Zumba routine0
