TDEE

What is TDEE? Can someone please break it down for me? Basically I've been signed up to MFP for a while. I originally set it at 2lb a week loss but that put me on 1200 cals a day which made me really arsey and lethargic so I worked out my BMR and it pushed it up to about 1500 cals. So I reworked my details losing 1lb a week. Now if I do exercise and earn say 300 cals I'm eating those back, is that right? :noway:

TDEE = Total Daily Energy Expenditure
In other words, the number of calories you actually burn on a given day, depending on activity level. Assuming you have a desk job and are fairly sedentary, it's your BMR * 1.2
There are different multipliers based on your overall activity level.0 -
Check out the group Eat More to Weigh Less. They've broken it down really well, and it's been quite a change for me (in a great way!)0
