Getting Started

Hi I am 23 year old Mom of two toddlers. I weight 273.5 and I am tired of being fat. I started this week and I have been eating right and exercising. I have been walking/jogging three miles a day. Today I am eating 4 hard boiled eggs and some broccoli. I have to make a change, I am not happy with what I am right now.

    You can do it! I've been on here for about 2 weeks and I've lost 5 pounds already (the pants that didn't fit me last week now fit me!)

    Keep it up!! I am a single mother of two sets of twins (18,16). I have been on a roller coaster with my weight since 2005 (128-187). I am 5'1" and I now weigh 175. I have trouble keeping it off even though I eat well, I don't eat regularly. Don't give up, and I will keep you in my prayers.

    Its always doable! You just want to make sure its a diet change you will stick to. Trust me, I got down to 155 lbs from 169 and then found I became sloppy. So here I am again, this time eating in a way that suits the whole family but still watching what I eat without going to an extreme :smile: I went up to 172.     make sure that you are eating enough -- while broccoli and eggs sounds healthy, with a diet like that I would give up fast! My advice is to use this site all day every day to track your calories as you go through the day. You can always excercise to help you get more calories to eat! Just don't burn yourself out!! Feel free to add me as a friend if you would like some help and encouragement. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
  • YOU have the power and strength to do it!! So don't give up!! The confidence you will gain while you lose will make you feel like a million bucks!

    First of all Welcome!

    It takes a lot to even start something like this so half the battle is won!!!
    I've been on here for almost 3 weeks now. My next weigh in is sat and I've already lost 6 pounds. I am actually excited to see if i've lost any this week! Which I never did when I was on Weight Watchers last year!
    I tried this as my friend recommended it and boy do I wish I did this sooner!
    I love it and I feel much better for it!

  • Hi!! I am new to this site. I am looking to loose about 15-20 lbs. Have tried other weight loss options, but nothing has worked for me yet.. I am optimistic that this will!! I am a stay at home mom of 4 kids, so that in itself keeps me very busy!! Looking forward to meeting some new people with similar stories!!
