Hi all I hope its ok that I made the new thread. I'm just weighing in this morning with a 1.5 loss. I'm really happy with what I have been doing. At least until i had breakfast this morning. We went to Sonic and well I had the new Java Chiller and OMG its good but loaded in cals so I will be spending extra time in the gym today.

i didnt lose or gained. i stayed the same. ima try to be xtra careful for thanksgiving since i will be eating at 3 houses. uhhh dnt know how im going to do it.0

good morning all, how was your weekend? I have to admit I was really bad, I ate alot of fast food and well I'm sure I gained what I lost but at least I still made it to the gym both days this weekend and thats something for me. I'm hoping to eat better this week even though it will be turkey day on Thursday. We just have to remember portion control will be a huge factor for all of us.
We can beat this turkey day blues!

Well, that's not really true. I GAINED at the beginning of the week due to very bad eating habits then straightened up and lost that only to even out with what I was last Saturday. My weight fluctuates soooo easily... what's up with that?
Best of luck to everyone this week. I will have to dig deep for some willpower. . . or just hit the gym way harder than usual. I think that will be my plan.0 -
Good luck Amanda! My plan is to monitor my eating much more closely. Usually when I get home after work I end up mindlessly munching. Stress eating is a killer.0

So as of Friday I was down 2 pounds, I haven't weighted since, but did much better this weekend than I have in the past. No exercise on Saturday, but did go dancing friday night and for a long hike and shopping on Sunday so I think i should still be good for this week....

Also if they are putting app's out before dinner try to make a plate and walk away.
My family isn't happy, but I am only putting nuts and a veggie platter out for app's... They can wait til diner:huh: :huh:0 -
Hi ladies....I am very excited to say I am down 3 lbs this week:happy: I have been pretty carefull what I ate (although I did fully enjoy a trip to olive garden). I think the biggest difference is that I am on day 5 of no soda. It has been miserably hard, but I think that is what has made the difference.
I am headed to NY for Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to spending time with my family, but I am not looking forward to trying to eat well. My family is all overweight, and they really enjoy their food. My goal is to loose 1 lb this week, and I think it will be very hard!!0 -

TAHMED!Great job, soda is so hard to cut out so kudos to you on that. I need to stop drinking it on the weekends thats my problem, I drink water during the week and then that all goes out the window.
We can all do this at Thanksgiving, just remember your portion sizes and you should be fine. You can always go for a walk after dinner if where you live is nice. I guess I have it a little easier I only have to worry about 1 meal but it will still be hard I love mash tators! oh and the cheesecake but my Mom made it low fat this year just for me, YAY!
Just a big reminder we are all in this together we can do this! anytime we need to vent come here and we'll work it out!

Hopefully I will still see a loss tomorrow when I offially weigh in again. Looking forward to Thanksgiving, we are have 33 people for dinner. I even bought smaller plates this year so I wouldn't eat soooo much. I guess is it was 3 years ago when I was on WW and I still lost over Tday, so I am determined to watch the scale go down. I finally, hopefully, left this platue so I don't want to mess that up....
did pilates today and plan on walking if the rain stops today...

I finally lost again!!!! 2 weeks in a row. Down another 2 pounds this week.
What a great feeling...
Worked out this morning and I am determined to eat well tomorrow... I CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Well its here, its Thanksgiving time. So far this week hasn't been good for me I haven't done the exercise like I should have been but I'm so going to try and get there the next couple days and since I'm off work I have no excuse not to go. So we shall see what the damage is sat morning, LOL

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA, Idon't really come on here on the weekends and yesterday we were just partying here at work :drinker: Anyways, I see most have had good weeks. Tahmed, good job on the 3 pounds! Taht's tough, especially during this time of the year,well at least for me. I ate A LOT this weekend, but I weighed myself yesterday and I stayed the same 154...so I will take it, plus its my TOM, so usually it's worse! Yesterday, I did eat a lot HOWEVER, I ran 6 miles before work, then after, I did Zumba for an hour and yoga for an hour, so I'm hoping I compensated for my food intake. I'll keep you all posted on my weight next week.0
