    Oh, he's so cute! I've had 2 Russian Blues, and they are sweethearts! I hate seeing overweight pets. So glad he is getting healthy :heart:

    That's great! My cat lost weight, went from about 22lbs to 16lbs (she's a big cat as well as formerly heavy) just by switching her to a grain free cat food.

    Since cats are obligate carnivores, it can be hard for them to properly loose weight when their food contains grains, vegtables, fruits and other things that they are acutally incapable of digesting. Just something to keep in mind for other people with fat cats :smile:

    My cat got pretty fat when I first got him, but I trimmed him up nice! The last thing I want is the vet to scowl at me for making my cat fat.

    I've wondered about eating mono food portioned out for me...I would go crazy. I love food too much. But thankfully cat's seem OK with it! My kitty has a paunch but I'm sure it's just a "love" bag. It kinda swings too which is funny.

    i know i shouldn't giggle, because obesity is very serious, even in cats, but how cute was he on the scales with those bow ties and neck ties on? awwww, my cat would SHRED me if i tried that. :)
