Marinades - How do you track them?

Hello, my question is related to marinating something. How do you count the calories in marinades? I am specifically to the McCormick's marinades, the ones that come in an envelope and you add a bit of vinegar and oil to create it. If I eat 1/4 of the chicken, do I count 1/4 of the oil I have used? So much is left over when you are ready to cook. is there a good rule of thumb? Thanks!

I would just guess as best as I could. If you have half the marinade left, I would count 1/8th of the oil. Just guess as best as you can and maybe round up a little bit.0

I usually just count it as 1/2 a serving since there's so much marinade left over. So I think using your example instead of 1/4 I would say 1/8.0

I usually add it as a tablespoon of whatever the marinade is. No rhyme or reason, just to be simple.0
