Me and a few buddies are a bit special, and have been bulking all summer, sad lonely creatures that we are, and with Winter coming, its obviously time to cut. Who fancies joining our MFP 8 week cutting challenge? You might be a beginner, just starting their weightloss journey, you might be 50, or 100lbs in, you might be in a plateau and in need of support. Join us!
The rules are simple
Take a before picture.
Cut for the next 8 weeks
No naughty business with the steroids and the ECA
take a after picture
Any suggestions or input welcome, we want MFP to be the judges, we can have some little awards if we get enough people, most excercise, most weight lost, most aesthetic etc etc....

It's not you. It's Imageshack.
In Imageshack, click on the image to enlarge. Then right click the image and select Properties and then, for IE, copy the URL that is on the properties dialogue that pops up. In Chrome, you select "Copy Image URL".
Imageshack is making it difficult to create hard links.0 -

Full body front, back, and both sides for before and after would be nice! Makes my job easier
How the hell am I suppose to test for steroids or ECA though? I don't have that kind of lab equipment in my hands! 8 Weeks, meh, things won't change just overnight I suppose. Be good boys and girls...promise? I can tell if you are lying if you show your face! (Hah, be good Foxy!)
Start/Stop dates? Well whatever, post your pics when you got 'em.
How about some Objective categories too? Let's just go with weight and Bodyfat% (done using proportion scales since it's easiest)...more winners, less losers this way...everyone gets a trophy just like little league!0 -

After a 12 week bulk, I am up from the mid 160's to 176 lbs. I have all my pre cut measurements listed in my blog and I will use them as a reference for progress. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/nicksolomon

I'm in a 12 week cutter thing now so why not join an 8. I will take new pics and measurements this weekend.0

Yep mine wil just be heavy lifting with supersets and then some HIIT with kettle bells and bike... Just gotta get this calorie limit down... Having an italian gf makes it so so hard0 -

starting weight is 90kg, i started cutting on wedsnesday. this week. aiming to drop off 5kg. currently around 13% bodyfat.i will get a couple of pics tonight

Is this a group or forum post? I'm considering it but can't get pics till Wednesday night.
Never actually done a 'cut' before although obviously I've spent more than a few years on the slow & steady bulk.
I may be suffering a bit of bro science here but cutting the cals is what you mean but cut yeah? If I do that will I mess my metabolism? Im asking serious questions there0 -
What's the official start date? Maybe I'll "start" with you and begin dieting in a week and a half or so. I'm in a position where I can't really give it my all at the moment.0

What do you think about the timeframe Marky judge ?
8 weeks, +/- 3 weeks offset of do we need to al start today ? (for instance, still 1w of maintenance then 12w of cuts for me)0 -
If we say start monday, then it gives everyone a bit of time to get together photos and stuff. But if people want to start a bit later and run a bit later, we could wait for them for judging.
I think we should have MFP decide the overall most winner, but Mark and a specialist panel of the mega lean could pick some category winnners. Maybe Sidesteal could be another judge?
Kev you better be in, this was your idea! I woke up hungry for the first time this morning, Better than not being able to sleep cause your full! Looking at my pictures, i think i might've over bulked

I think a lot of us will probably be on 12 week cuts, but 8 weeks seemed a bit more accessible0 -
