After alot of interest in my completely impossible task of burning 18,000 calories in just 7 days, i wanted to share my days leading up to the goal.
After the amazing calorie burn on Day 2 of the challenge i felt that yesterday i needed to catch a break and have a rest day, my legs were sore and achy from the exercise, my body was worn out and i believe my head wasn't too far behind the door aswell. LOL.
That little days rest actually gave me some extra stamina in order to complete both workouts. The morning workout started off great, the first 5 mins i was speeding through quite happily but then the struggle of the other days really started to kick in, legs were getting tired, arms were still aching from day 2 and i was sweating like a polar bear in summer, if polar bears actually do sweat in summer, anyway i put all them factors at the back of my head and i just went for it, volume on iPhone full blast and pumping motivational tunes really encouraged me to push on through the pain barrier. quick note, i do recommend Evanescence as they really do get me in the mood for exercise, each to our own though.
The last 20 mins really used all my energy and will power to keep my legs racing at the pace i wanted, alot of glances from other members of the gym spurred me on more for some reason, (i don't really no why though).
The morning session i managed to complete in 62 mins burning around 1350.... and yes i do know that the machines are probably over estimating but the feeling and buzz of seeing them numbers pushes me to keep going to the gym and if that makes me get fit then i will keep telling myself that .
Tonight's workout again started off very tiring and i struggled alot more during the whole workout but i still stuck to the 60 mins as i never like giving up unless I'm in pain but sometimes pain doesn't stop me anyway second one really did take the energy out of me but I'm still feeling very good and just seeing me excited to go gym every morning and night just shows that giving yourself a challenge really does help you look at achieving something great.
The nights calories wasn't as good and 60 mins burning around 1292, the last 10 mins i really pushed harder to get my heart really pumping, it kills you but you feel proud once you finish. I also managed to run, well i say run but it was more a quick jog and then i was absolutely shattered, however my next challenge is to burn 5000 calories in 7 days running, however thats another story for another day.
In all i managed to burn a total of 2670 today and since Monday i have burnt a massive 6712, again i know its probably wrong but im happy.
And the reason I'm so happy is t-shirts that were extremely tight and i was considering chucking in a charity bag last week are now too big, however I'm defo not complaining, in fact I'm super happy with myself.
Finally before i stop going on i would just like that to thank all those negative people who when i expressed my idea on the message boards gave me all negative feedback, alot claiming i was a troll because the number was ridiculous, well in fact Marcus Aurelius once said "Because a thing seems difficult for you, do not think it impossible for anyone to accomplish.”
If you want to add me then feel free, i accept everyone
See you guys tomorrow.
P.S i also offer motivation and encouragement if anyone is struggling, we all need a helping hand at least once in our lives

Hey OP,
You jelly of my 5000cal/day metabolism on an inactive day?0 -
Hey fella, I thought Superman was a fictitious character but you've just proved me wrong. However, I don't want to rain on your parade but I'm interested in knowing not just how much weight you lost but also knowing how much of that weight was fat and how much of it was muscle. As you are no doubt aware, burning those amounts of calories needs a lot of calorie consumption of good nutritious food in order to keep your body from taking energy from your muscles. How many calories did you consume then? The fact is that if you lose muscle you will actually slow down your metabolism because its your muscle that actually burns your fat. So, whilst its true that you have the stamina of a stallion, I'm unsure if you will stay hung, sorry I mean , built like one for much longer. Take care, don't get weight loss confused with fat loss.0

And when burning that many calories, it is impossible to prevent muscle loss. Unless the weightloss is due to use of a muscle sparing cutting agent of some kind0
