Hey everyone!
So i'm 5"4 F and weigh 141. I haven't lost anything in a couple of weeks and i know it's been because i've binged every so often. Anyway though.... I calculated my TDEE and it said 2534. On MFP it says i should eat 1200 calories and my BMR is 1475.5. I don't understand what to do with all these numbers! I've just been listening to MFP but what about 2534...
I exercise basically everyday and am also doing 30 day shred and am under my calorie goal for the week (except when i unfortunately mess up). What do u think?
Thanks so much!

I'm incredibly confused also.
My BMR is 1396 yet MFP is telling me to eat 1200? How much am I supposed to eat if I do eg 300cals of exercise?0 -
BMR: basal metabolic rate: amount you would burn in a coma
TDEE: total daily energy expenditure: amount you actually burn, taking into account your activity.
MFP calculates BMR*lifestyle modifier (if you pick lightly active it gives you more calories than if you pick sedentary, so if you pick sedentary, you DO log your workouts and you DO eat back those calories. Some people choose something more active and do NOT eat back exercise calories). and then subtracts 500 calories for each lb/week you want to lose. At your weight, you shouldn't pick more than 1 lb per week.
So to recap: Pick sedentary, pick 1 lb per week (or less!), wear an HRM to find out how many calories you burn while working out, and eat back those calories. Adjust if necessary.0 -

What does this TDEE stand for? And what is it? Thanks0 -
It's the amount of calories that you burn (total daily energy expenditure)0
