Did the research read up on it and I'm still confused. I wanna lose weight obviously and I know the whole 3500 =1 lb rule of thumb. But my question if ANYONE would answer would be lovely... Is....-> should your net be negative or positive ? Is it stating your daily deficit ? What's the best way if anyone can share it.. Please :). -> what's the best / most accurate way to mathematically calculate weight loss based on deficit / excercise to see how much you would lose or weigh in a week lb wise? Please someone answer ;) I once went based in MPF & my excercise burned cals & came up with what should of burned 2 lbs but didn't. U catch my drift ?

I don't 100% catch your drift on the last part, but basically: if you're following MFP the way it was designed to work (ie not going with your own customised goal) then on your homepage, under your daily summary, the number under "=Net" should be the same (or close to) the number under "Goal" at the end of the day. MFP gives you a daily calorie goal with a built-in deficit based on the assumption that you will log your exercise and eat back those extra calories to bring you back to the original deficit. You don't have to do any calculations yourself if you are following this method. Also, if you're looking to lose 2lbs a week, your daily deficit would be 1000 calories from your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) but MFP will not give you a goal lower than 1200 calories a day. I hope some of that answers your question.
