bluetooth headphones interfere with HRM

My HRM read very low (like 99 when it should have been around 180 normally) when I used my bluetooth headphones. I've never had a problem with my HRM reading low before, and after I took away the bluetooth it shot back up. Is there a solution for this or should I stick to my $5 walmart wired headphones?
