I don't eat breakfast at all, my old breakfast was a pepsi but I'm trying to give that up. I need some ideas that would be kid friendly and easy. Warning I don't like a lot of breakfast foods. I just can't eat eggs, if cooked in something ok but not plain eggs.

My new favorite breakfast is an english muffin with reduced fat peanut butter ....it is good and gives you some protien in the morning.0 -
Oatmeal is great for breakfast.
- english muffin with almond butter (so delish)
-canadian bacon & toast
- egg beaters or eggs mixed with grilled chicken and fat free shredded cheese

Most times I eat Instant Low sugar oatmeal at work during the week. Weekends could be egg or cereal (Special K with strawberries.) Do love how the oatmeal stays with me and keeps me going in the morning.0

I do the low sugar oatmeal during the week too. Sometimes i'll buy the weight control or high fiber one, but those really fill me up.
Weekends is usually an egg white omelette with spinach and mushrooms. Maybe throw some salsa on top.0 -
I make my own version of an Egg McMuffin...
1 Arnold's Sandwich Thins MultiGrain roll
1 wedge Laughing Cow Light cheese
1 slice Canadian bacon
1 fried egg white
Fry the egg in a non-stick pan. I use the same pan to heat the Canadian bacon. Toast the roll, spread on the cheese, add the egg and bacon.

Another good option: Fruit Smoothie.
I just take whatever fruit I have on hand (fresh and/or frozen; all of it unsweetened) and whip it up in the blender with a serving of either non-fat soy or almond milk. I like to blend 1/2 banana, 1 cup frozen mango, and 1 cup frozen blueberries. I also add one serving of pasteurized egg whites and a cup of raw spinach to boost my protein levels. You can also add whatever supplements you want to your mixture. I sometimes add ground flaxseeds or flaxseed oil. Just be careful to watch the calories (and even the fats) in the add-ins. I have found that a smoothie can oftentimes be higher in calories depending on the amount of fruit used, but I always feel satiated longer and have more energy.
Good luck!0 -
I usually end up eating breakfast at my desk at work, so I don't do anything fancy. Lately I have been having yogurt -6oz (marionberry is my favorite) and mixing in 1/4 cup of Grapenuts. Very yummy!0
