Eating on the run?

I'm new to this site, so forgive me if there is a message board with this topic already...

I'm a mom and have a full time job, and very active kids. Seems like we are always on the run, and not home around dinner time, or in a rush to eat. Also, we attend tons and tons of baseball games and practices. So, I need ideas for eating healthy on the go. This could be easy meals at home, or resaurants. Do you guys prefer home made snacks or pre-packaged ones? I try to avoid those because of the expense...anyway, any input you have would be great! Thank you!
