I've been home from work this week (yay vacation) and making the most of my free time in terms of exercise. I've been getting in the pool every day and just jogging in place. With my Fitbit securely ensconsed in a ziplock bag that I have tied to my topknot bun, I can track my workouts, get steps and get badges. Woot.

Yesterday I ran for five whole hours (yes, I am insane; thanks for noticing). Why, you ask? Well, a few weeks ago I was able to spend four hours water jogging and got a 35,000 step badge. I wanted the 40,000 step one, so I put on my local "we play everything" radio station, slathered on the sunblock and hopped back in the pool.

Five hours later, I checked the Fitbit and had 16.6 miles on it. I ran 16.6 miles. I am more shocked than anyone.

Oh yeah, I am now the proud owner of the 40,000 step badge. Too bad there are not badges for 45,000, 50,000, etc. for our marathon-running friends.

Wow! That's amazing. I'm really thinking about getting a Fitbit and after reading how fun it can be to earn badges, I'm totally on board. Keep up the great job :D
