Juicing

A girl I work with is on a diet where she has one normal meal a day and the rest of the day lives off juices that she makes out of all kinds of different fruits and vegetables. I personally could never do this and the drinks look disgusting but she has lost about 20 lbs in under a month. Has anyone else tried a diet like this? Is this actually healthy? I'm nervous that she's starving herself and won't be able to keep it up long term. What are your thoughts?

    You should watch "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" . That's probably where the girl you work with got the idea. It's a very compelling and interesting documentary where people take control of their weight problems and health problems by juicing.
