how much calorie, fat, and exercise are you set at???

I have been on here for a while, some days are better than other days…out of curiosity, I am asking these questions….please respond honestly.
My questions are - if you guy/girls do not mind me asking these questions…
How much do you weigh?
Do you set your own calories based on how much you want to lose for the week? If so, How much is it?
Do you exercise, if so, do you eat your exercise calories?
Have you lose weight with the plan given?
My answers:
212 pounds
Mine is set on 1200 calories a day…for 2 pounds lose a week
About 30 minutes a day, some days more other days only 30
Very slow progress….

Hi I weigh 175
Eat 1600 calories a day for 1 pound weight loss per week
I do 30 minutes of cardio and weight lifting 4 times a week
I eat at least half if not all my exercise calories
Worked really well in the begining but the more I lose it seems the harder it is to lose.
These last few pounds are being stubborn. I have lost 15 pounds in 3 months.
Just be careful doing 1200 calories a day with exercise. 1200 is the minimum amount the body needs. If you dont eat enough of your exercise calories your body could go into starvation mode.0 -

Daily Goal: 1,890 calories. (For one pound weight loss a week.)
Standard activity: Sedentary. Exercise Goals: 3 days a week, 30 min a session.
Since starting however I have been exercising more than my goal every day. Even on my birthday I didn't miss a day. I never go over my calories but once in a while I'll be over in the carbs or fat specifically. I'm over in fiber and protein daily.
I just let the site guide my initial goals and such. The math (from other sites) says though that I could consume roughly 2,800 calories and maintain the weight I started at although this site seems to think that 2,300 or so is my maintain weight (assuming 1890 is 500 less). So I don't honestly know what's right for me but I've been going 2,100 or under a day, but also burning anywhere between 220-450 calories a day.
I have lost 7 pounds in the past two weeks, I'll know what week three has done for me on Friday. I don't always eat my exercise calories. Hope this helps in some way.0 -

No, I don't eat my calories,but that has worked for me, but have tried and it did not help me at all. I actually was only maintaining (good thing), but I still have not hit my goal yet, so I am not ready for the maintaining phase.0 -

Not sure if it's working...I avoid the scales, but do feel better and have trimmed up a lot
work out at least 5 times a week, 2 days running on treadmill and 3 hard core boot camp days at my gym

I am a 35-yr-old female and weigh between 143-145. Down from a high of 162 last fall. Lost most of my weight in 3-4 months.
I still eat between 1600-1800 calories a day and just completed a half-marathon training program (and race) that had me running up to 20 miles a week for about 6 weeks. I maintained, did not gain, during that time.
I got injured on November 8 and am trying to get in 4 cardio days a week on the bike and elliptical; average burn each time about 400-500 calories.
I have never been able to average only 1,200 day. I would like to get down to 135-140, but find it extremely difficult to cut and still enjoy my lifestyle. I wear a size 8 and have a 28.5 waist; less might not be realistic for me?

i normally eat them, depending on the day. Working for me, but I eat healthier now then i did b4 i started working out. I eal lots of protein less fat and minimal carbs due to being insulin resistant, but i eat like every two hours a small meal, it works for me but everyone is differnt, not getting enough calories in when u work out will normally put u at a platu or gain but everyone is differnt again. you just need to find ur match0 -

Do you exercise, if so, do you eat your exercise calories? I exercise 3-6 times a week for about an hour each time and yes I eat my exercise calories
Have you lose weight with the plan given? yes, it came off very regularily in the beginning but it gets harder to closer you are to your goal.
To the OP, it really isn't reccomended to try to lose more than 1 pound a week. I started at around the same weight as you (216) and have done just fine on 1 pound per week. I know it sounds slow, but with each pound you notice a difference and feel better and better. It really doesn't feel like I have been at this for a year and a half because everyday I love my body more and more (and it wouldn't have taken this long if I had been more diciplined).0 -

I let MFP set all my nutritional goals. I eat 1200 calories a day in order to loose 2 lbs. a week.
Yes I do exercise. I only eat my exercise calories every once in awhile.
If I actually stuck to it then I probably would have. But I haven't been sticking to it lately. I need to get back on track.0 -
I weigh 230
I am set at 1630 calories to loose 2lbs a week. However, I try to stay closer to the 1200 calories range. This is only my second week on this and I have yet to set an exercise goal. So, I have to work on that.
I think once both my hubby & I are both working out it will motivate me. Right now he can't exercise until he has his stress test next week. He was just diag. diabetes type 2, so we are working at the eating part pretty good.
My true test will come when I PMS and usually crave carbs and chocolate!:devil:0 -

Do you set your own calories based on how much you want to lose for the week? If so, How much is it? I lost 20 pounds before I stared doing the MFP way. When I started MFP it was set at 1200 cals. I started gaining weight and got sick. Now I'm on The biggest loser club, using the food suggestions for vegetarians and tracking my food, but not stressing over calories. I naturally eat between 900-1400 depending on my activity for the day. I do that without thinking, thats what my body craves.
Do you exercise, if so, do you eat your exercise calories? I usually exercize when I can get out of bed, (dealing with some health issues) and yes I eat those calories. But again, I do not purposly count calories. I just eat when I'm hungry. I keep the right foods in the house so I don't worry about the calories. Its very hard to overdo it on raw veggies, lol.
Have you lose weight with the plan given? Like I said before, MFP is not for me. vegetarian works for me. Its a hormonal thing, I cannot eat meat. My hormones, my digestive tract, they don't respond well to meat. I also battle anorexia. I can't focus on the counting of calories and fat and all that jazz. I came pretty close to a relapse very recently and I'm still struggling to avoid it.0 -

I work out at least 30 minutes a day, and I do eat my exercise calories.
When I follow this plan I loose weigt... many times I stray which is why I am only at 5 lbs :ohwell:0
