F11 - Own Zone ?

Can anyone explain Own Zone to me please? I no longer have my info booklet so I cant look it up but I also need someone to explain it to me in plain english lol :flowerforyou:
When I checked it last week it came up 139-155 and now today I checked it and its coming up as 128-144.. I really don't understand it! :blushing:

Own Zone judges the rate in which your heart rate increases as you increase your level of activity. If you are Cardio tired from working out the day before, the suggestion for your target HR zone for that workout will be lower. If you are fresh from a day off, the target HR will be higher. It is a really nice feature that is good for making sure you are not overworking your body to exhaustion or possible injury.

How often should I check it? I'm only checking mine once every week and a half... Is that okay?0 -

The idea is to check it for each workout. It does not save the results each time it does it. The idea is to see how cardio fit you are before you start a workout. However, I only check it if I am going out running. It doesn't work well for aerobics, yoga or weight lifting.0
