30 year old male here who's 5'8" and currently 159.8 (goal is 135). I am trying to figure out my macros and I've figured out I need 92 or so grams of protein, but how many grams of fat do I ***need*** to have fully functioning cells and brain activity? Aside from a recent pec injury and some bone loss in my spine, I'm a pretty healthy guy; plus I restrict my fat intake to only the unsaturated fats and the fat associated with cholesterol (limit saturated to 10 a day and absolutely no trans). So what should my grams be for the rest? How much does the body need?

http://www.usfsa.org/content/Fat_How Low.pdf may help.
http://www.who.int/nutrition/topics/FFA_summary_rec_conclusion.pdf suggests 15% of calories as a lower limit for adults. So let's say 2400 cals * 15% / 9 = 40 grams0
