What is the best way to record exercise using resistance bands? I use them instead of weights for convience, but what is their weight equivalent?
Also can some one explain to this thick-head what is meant by sets and repeats.:embarassed:

Okay reps is how many times do the exercise - I did 10 curls
Sets are how many times I did 10 reps
Resistance is the amount of weight
The amount of weight/ resistance is really irrelevant. You can just assign a weight or if the bands are different colors make red 1, blue 2, and etc. As long as your always charting a constant value it does not really matter. The site does not offer a chart for strength training or really track progress other than the daily reports.0 -
Thanks, it seems so straight forward, but just wanted to check.
I've been looking at some past posts for resistance bands, easy once I found the search on the new layout , seems I'll have to invest in a HRM if I want to include it in the cardio.
Like you picture, is it Brains from 'Pinky and Brains'?0
