I started this at 355 pounds on june 5 2012 and as of august 22 2012 I am 273 I still have a ways to go but the journey has been simple amazing. I am not dieting but making a lifestyle change that will be with me for the rest of my life. 2 1/2 months ago walking 0.8 miles was impossible today I walk 8 miles a day on average six days a week and max out at 10-12 miles. Living my goals and beating my goals is just awesome. I used to drink plenty of sugar drinks, ate plenty of fried foods, cajun dishes and desserts I have since cut out fried foods, reserved desserts for special ocassions and drink 98% water. I enjoy eating whole grains, turkey, fish, my pancakes with sugar free syrup and that is to name a few things. I never eat past 7:30pm on average eat under 1300 calories accept for two days a month were I allow myself to go up to 2000. Watching my calories, carbs, sodium, sugar and fats have helped me to lose weight, feel amazing and have energy I have not had in years. For the first time I exercised on my birthday and was so proud of myself I honestly could not have done this without God and my wonderful wife. I encourage you all to get your spouse and family on board in your lifestyle change it really is a blessing.

It is a lifestyle change...On my days off from work, I'm like..."OOOH COOL...More time to go to the gym or bike ride" everybody looks at me like I'm crazy that I would want to spend time off in the gym, "working", lol.
