Feeling motivated!!!

Well, kind of. The thing that is not motivating, and is in fact demotivating, is that the numbers are not changing on the tape measure and there is no change in my pictures I am keeping up to date with.
This is bothering me less now than I expected it would. The thing is, while those are not changing, other things are. I have lost 12.5 pounds so far since July 11. I still have 100 pounds to go at least, so losing 12 pounds is only a small drop in the bucket. So I can't expect to see drastic changes yet. My fitness level is improving - slowly, but better than not at all. I went 2 miles today in 29 minutes, which beats my 30 minute record for that distance.
Sure, these are small successes. And I may be going about this in a somewhat convoluted, distracted manner regarding exercise and eating, but I would rather get there taking the scenic, obstacle-laden route than lock my keys in the door and give up on taking the journey before even starting. At least the way I am going now I will get there.
I am getting a copy of the Insanity workout set and P90X workouts, so that will help with weight loss and toning up. We will see where I am when I finish those.
