    I like taking any of my favorite recipes that have pasta or noodles and replacing them with shiritake noodles. Try pan frying them before using the, for little bit to held get them a little more tender. Also, I find they are better for chinese and thai recipes than they are for italian recipes with marinara or white cheese sauces

    I live in southcentral PA and have been buying them for several years at Giant Foods. You can find them in the organic refrigerated section with tofu, yogurt, etc. They are in a clear pouch.
