Food shopping frustration

With the Tropical Storm/Hurricane looming over us here in Florida I went food shopping today to stock up on some things just in case we can't get out for a few days.
It was SOOOOOOOO difficult finding low carb & high protein healthy food that you can have on standby in case power goes out & that doesn't require cooking. Sure, fruits & veggies but if there is a loss of power, it will go bad so I didn't want to buy a lot then not get to eat it.
Tuna, cans of soup .... not much else ... :ohwell:
