Hi,
I am new to these boards, looking forward to getting to know peeps around these parts.
Not sure of the last time that I actually counted calories. I am thinkin it may have been way back in the 80's. Though I have counted points with WW many times.

Hi Jazee!
I am new too and familiar with WW (through a friend who did it, I never did). At least you get to do it all again with calorie counting! I haven't even done it for a week yet and I was so shocked when I saw what I considered a healthy lunch taking a lot of my daily allowance!
Feel free to add me if you want to!
All the best,

I noticed a bunch of people that left WW to MFP, and they seem to take weight off faster. I did weight watchers I did have success but, seemed to be to many carbs and calories0

I blame the new system they put in that made fat "less bad" and had a lot of free stuff. Like, I never knew an onion was calories! Sounds stupid, I know, but for WW it is a free food so I thought it was like celery... *runs and hides*0 -
Hello :-)... today is my first day trying MFP.. i am actually still doing WW but i wanted to see how i could make both of them work for me and see how far i actually get. I have heard that MFP is great and that it is many people on here who actually succeed. I have had success stories with WW and have been doing pretty good well.. sort of lol... it is nice to get to read everyone's input and see what actually works for them. Interested in friends on this journey as well.. so if that is your kind of thing.. add me! i think i'm pretty nice :-)0

Thank you all for the welcomes!
I lost tons of weight with WW over the years and I am still an online member. Not sure if I will continue with them or not. I have heard wonderful things about this site and have been meaning to check it out forever.0
