Hi MFP friends,

What do you do when you start getting burnt out. I've been using the site for almost a year, gotten pretty close to my fitness goals, and I'm having a hard time staying motivated. I really want to stay healthy and get my eyes back on the prize, but it's so hard :( Any advice would be appreciated!

With only 9 left to go, reach a little harder and give yourself a reward that you deserve. All day at the spa would be nice for starters. A new pair of cute shoes are always nice and brag about it on here, We love success stories. You can do it.
  • I also look in the mirror and pick out the areas id like to work on..

I try to prelog everything into my diary on here to stay under my calorie goals. Sometimes I arrange the goals day by day just to give some variety to my diet.

I love looking on forums here for ideas and different exercises and recipe!€

It is the whole mental shift from this being anything but a total lifestyle change. Once you realize this is the rest of your life then there is really little motivation needed, you just live your life... I started my new life in May of 2009 and have never look back... Best of Luck...

Yesterday I had a really bad eating day, so I went for a massive walk around the neighbourhood and worked my butt off, and my treat/reward at the end was painting my nails. Probably sounds lame, but it made me walk faster and stronger and didn't make exercise so boring/painful! You can do it, You've come so far :):)
