OK maybe some of you know this but I baked cupcakes this morning (well I did not mean you all knew that I baked cupcakes this morning) So I looked at the package after they were done. Then I saw the info one calories per serving size EctEct. So I broke it down because I had made 20 cupcake. Much to my suprise they only have 144 cals for each cupcake (not frosted of course) I made milk chocolate. So I think for those of us looking for a special treat once in awhile that would not be such a bad thing. Just thought I would Share. Happy Thanksgiving

I agree... I also like the fact that cupcakes are already portioned out. So, you don't have to worry about eating a big or small piece of cake. Cupcakes are (usually) a consistent size. I made them last weekend for my birthday. I can have one for dessert and walk away, instead of picking and picking at the cake.

Also you can put them in freeze bag and store them in the freezer and pull one out to defrost (Heck of alot cheaper than the diet frozen desserts like weight watchers)

That's great! But bad for us who have trouble eating just one. =D One day it'll happen.
  • I've been to weddings where instead of a Wedding Cake they had a mountain of Wedding Cupcakes. It looks cool and also makes it easy for everyone to have a nice sized portion. They had a green frosting I think and a musical note to top it off (being musicians and all).
