Where OH Where Did My Motivation Go?!

So It has been about 2 months since I have made a conscious effort in my eating and weight loss. Lately - my motivation to keep healthy is slowly by surely going down hill. I am eating "unhealthy" snacks at higher amounts - I am more relaxed about going out to restaurants to eat...my proportions are also slowing rising again.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?! I still want to lose weight - I love what I have accomplished so far. I describe it as "lazy" sometimes, my temptations are too great? I don't know.

Has this happened to you? What did you do to get back on track?

its generally considered bad form to bump your own post because you haven't gotten a response. especially if it's only been 4 minutes. i'm sure people will respond to your question.

With a lot of weight to lose it can be tiring knowing how long it will take and I want to rebel. Basically I've just have to be serious with myself and get real and just do the right thing, I tend to focus on exercise more or what I can eat to remain in goal rather than what I can't have

I lost mine a bit, too. I keep eating snacks that I am not logging. Its frustrating, but thankfully I still seem to be eating at least at maintenance, because I am not gaining anything... It would be nice to lose a bit more, though.

Relook at your goals and replan what you want to do with those goals in mind - we're only human, it's what we do.
    Good luck!

When I feel like I want something bad I try to get creative and find something to satisfy those cravings but still eat healthy for example wanted chips and salsa and would of ate a whole bag of chips. Found in the vegetable section carrots cut and they resembled ruffles chips had that with salsa it was healthy and tasted good

It happens to all of us. For me, personally, I found it best to "give in" to my cravings. If I want something sweet, I'll usually have it. Ultimately, I try to stay under my calorie goal, and have done a good job of it thus far.

For example, tomorrow I WILL have some Symphony Chocolate, because I've been wanting it for a while now. But I also plan on having a fresh salad and going to the gym.

As long as you're doing everything in moderation, I don't see the problem. If you keep denying yourself what you want, always, you'll just lose interest in the diet altogether. :)

Just log everything before you eat it. That tends to work well.

I am having this problem right now too, I think for me it is because I have been stuck with this last 11-9 pounds that I have left to loose for about 2 months. I feel like I have not been getting any results whether I go above or below may daily goal. I have heard a lot of people having success with the eat more to loose concept so I am trying that. I have been feeling like I am hungry ALL the time lately so my daily goal allows me an extra 120 calories a day so my goal is to eat those extra calories as a healthy snack each day.
