I done MFP for a few months right after i had a rough surgery in May. I done pretty well.. my first week i dropped five pounds and had started walking/JOGGING!! Jogging is what got me, i was so out of shape that at first just walking killed me... but i made it to where I could jog at least a mile before feeling like i was dying .... i dont know what happened to me.. i just stopped logging on, stopped tracking, stopped exercising.. part of it was me getting back to work.. it took from my exercise time & i worked at McDonalds so it made it harder to eat healthy.. i've lost my job and i'm getting really stressed about bills and other stuff until i can get back to work... I, as most do, turn to food when im stressed.. lately i've been doing ok with the not eating when im not hungry thing but its hard to control sometimes.. does anyone have any tips? I'm going to try REALLY hard to get back on track- of course this is going to start after stuffing my face tomorrow for thanksgiving.. but for myself, my family, and my friends- my health, my life.. for every time i shed a tear, smile, laugh.. for all the emotions that im so grateful to have running through my body- im going to force myself tomorrow- no matter how hot, how cold, how unappealing it will be to drive down to a park from my moms house and jog its mile circle- at least once and keep going until i dont think i can do it anymore- please- i need friends right now people to help push me back into my lifestyle that i chose and let go..

I know exactly how you're feeling, but if you stick to working towards your goals, you are going to feel so much better about yourself. The hardest part (for me) as far as exercising goes, it just getting myself to the park or gym - once I'm there it's easy, and it really makes me feel so good after I'm done, too. Take it from me, there's no point in stressing over the bills getting paid, or when you're gonna find a job. Worrying about these problems actually takes from the time you could be spending doing something productive to solve them. I know it's easier said than done, though. It's totally up to you - you can CHOOSE not to stress out just like you can CHOOSE not to eat crap. What helps me is to always have a healthy snack around, like some dry cereal (I like Kashi Go Lean Crunch), granola bars (The best tasting and healthiest I've found is Cascadian Farm Organic Choc Chip), or fruit or something. I'll take snacks with me everywhere I go - then I won't be tempted to eat the junk food when I'm hungry and not at home. The point is, eating really isn't the biggest problem, it's WHAT we eat that's the problem. All that said, what helps me more than anything else is my faith in God - I don't mean to preach, but I just recently accepted God in my life, and since then my life has improved 100%. It's a whole different way of looking at things - knowing that God is there to walk you through the tough times, and that he won't let you fall as long as you're holding his hand - it's a really powerful, amazing feeling when you truly believe. I know that as long as I have faith - I can do anything (and that goes for losing weight/ changing my habits, etc). Anway - I'll stop preaching now HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING THAT YOU PUT YOUR MIND TOO!0
