So this is 7 days in and I eat the same, but I just have a window of time to eat. So far I have lost 5 pounds this week. It's pretty amazing. If you haven't heard of it, look it up. In my book it works.

I'm doing alternate day fasting, going well so far, I have my first weigh in and BP check tomorrow!

Its a fasting technique that targets your fat stores. Here is how it works. There are a couple types of "IF", but the one that most people do is a 16 hour fasting period, with an 8 hour window. So right now I get the same amount of calories I would normally eat between noon and 8pm. I still hit the gym every other day and do some form of cardio daily. The felt has been melting off.0

I've always done 16:8 by default as have never been a breakfast eater. I have just started doing 5:2 IF - only eating 1 meal with max 600 cals on 2 days per week.
1st week I lost 4lbs which is my highest ever weekly weight loss in nearly nine months of watching my food.
I highly recommend IF as the research I have done shows many benefits, but it is not for everyone.
I would love to have some more friends who are starting out in IF so week can support each other so if anyone wants to add me that would be great.0 -
i think i might give this alternate day fasting a go , or the 2 to 5 day....... ive just spent an hour watching the film on you tube .......0
