Hi. I am relatively new here and decided to brave a post in which I need help with ideas. I am often stuck inside at home, especially on college nights, I want to be able to work out at home with the same enthusiasm I have at the gym.. however, with ADD I struggle greatly to concentrate on my own (without trainer) long enough to do a good workout. I have a stationary bike but after about 5-7 mins I loose all interest, the same with Zumba (on my own). Any suggestions? similar situations?

Look up bodyrock.tv. You can do the workouts at home and they are short (about 10 minutes).

I work out specifically at home in fact I built a little gym with all the tools I need to workout in my Garage.. Now I know that won't apply to you to much in the dorm...

My advice is make time for the gym .. get up earlier..work out in the gym then...

Or may I recommend a few home work outs like Insanity or Tap out XT both routines that are a lot of cardio and require no equipment.

Also along with Bodyrock you may check out http://hasfit.com/

I really like the structure of P90x2... But man doing push ups on medicine balls KILLS my wrists I had to stop .. But have to admit I did feel pretty bad *kitten*.. My core is so much stronger.. I didnt do phase 3 of p90x2 sadly as I had to give the DVDs back to a friend.

I may buy the routine, but Beastbody is looking good too.. Decisions.
  • Try looking up youtubes top online trainers. Look up Amanda Russell (AR Fit) she has great interval workouts you can do from home in 16 minutes!
  • Thank you.. I will look into all of this :)
