Hey there! I'm a college student, 5'6, 152 lbs. I have a goal on losing approximately 20 lbs for grad this November. I joined MFP on July 2012 and have by far lost 7 lbs. I do cardios on an elliptical trainer 6 times a week (30-45 mins) then continue with the 2 kg dumbbells. Those two are the only fitness equipments I have at home and I decided that I shouldn't waste anymore money by being a member at a gym / hiring a personal trainer. I live in Asia and membership at local gyms can be really expensive here. So my question is, is it possible to reach my goal in time and get good results just by using my own fitness equipments?

Oh and another thing is that most people in Asia are so petite and skinny. I grew up in the West, so when I set my foot in Asia, I get people saying how large I am and kept telling me to lose weighs. My large frame was probably because I was used to having western nutrition. This is also another reason why I wanted to lose weighs.

Feel free to add me. I love the extra support and I hope you all reach your weight goals. :flowerforyou:

Hi, good luck! I'm sure you can do it! :)

You could also try going for a run... That's also very cheap and easy!

I think you can do it!!! Even if you don't meet your goal, but you come close to it, it'll probably be satisfying for you at graduation. I would also suggest going on youtube and searching for Jillian Michaels. Her workouts are intense and help to lose weight and build muscle! Good luck!
