Its a scary idea and it can be overwhelming wondering where do I even start. I know I was that way. General tips: eat at home instead of takeout. Add fruits, veggies, and water to diet. Making changes that cost you nothing like a brand of cheese or bread or pasta--whatever--that has a healthier version and does not bother you (what I mean by cost). Eating whole grain bread is just as easy as eating white bread for example. I bet you get the idea. No expert or anything--these are just things we did when hubby was diagnosed as diabetic and I had to overhaul our diets. Good luck, Debbie0

next time you go to the store.......try to avoid the junk food things you love the most. Maybe it is Chips......you could instead substitute Special K Cracker Chips. If you love candy......go for the Skinny Cow kinds.
There are a lot of little things you can do. If you love candybars...maybe get Fiber Granola Bars.
If you don't have it in the house..you can't eat it....but try to replace it with another option so that you feel like you still have some treats.
Hope this helped some.0 -

It is hard because I live with my fiance and he loves junk food. He can eat anything and not gain a pound.0
