First Post Birth Run !

OK, it took a while to get moving again, as my new baby is 4.5 weeks old !

My excuse was post birth hip pain (spd) but I decided today I felt up to moving and I did a 30 minute treadmill run just 1.6 miles and maybe 10 minutes of running within 30 minutes, the rest walking.

I'm very out of breath after a few minutes running, which is a shame as I graduated from C25K in early pregnancy and managing 30 minute runs. So I'll have to build up my running again, time to dig out my C25K pod casts again.

Yeah for me, finally start to move again, abet slowly :)

I know all too well where you are coming from my baby is 6 weeks as of today. Prior to getting pregnant I was a runner I loved it I ran 2-4 miles aday and did circuit training and if I was in a super good mood id run 6 sometimes. The first two runs since having baby I had to learn how to breath again which was the biggest struggle. However my body remembers how to run so im back to building up endurance once again, just ran a complete two miles almost a week ago I did stop twice though but it still felt good to finish. So heres to us getting back to where we were or getting even better :0)

That is right, I have forgot how to breath right. My legs were all for more running but my lungs disagreed ;)

Wow, you did a lot of running. I usually did between 2 &3 miles maximum.

I am thinking of going outside with my youngest two in my Phil & Teb Vibe pram, it isn't a proper jogging pram but it has suspension and a lockable front wheel.

That said I am hurting from my first run yesterday, so next run won't be today.
