Pull ups-DON'T DO THEM

Hahaha, just kidding.

I can't do a pull up. First time around I just hung there straining to pull myself up and nothing happened so I tried reverse pull ups.

Everything was going fine but I got cocky! I did thirty in a row.

Things were a bit sore but nothing out of the ordinary for muscle training...
Until a few hours passed and then WHAM! OW!

Next day I'm in so much pain I could just cry! Haha. OH MAN. Thank goodness for heat patches and Advil.

So, don't mess around with pull ups! They'll bite you in the rear (or back!) if you get cocky!

Absolutely! Pulls ups are my big fitness goal because in all my life (even as a kid) I couldn't do them. :)

    "Dance as if nobody's watching."
I Love That! Uh, but you might want to not be too oblivious, just incase you might need to defend yourself physically that is then again your a woman, so not many issues there I think, could be wrong, but 30% of being correct counts for something? hmmm

Totally the same with squats even though you walk on your legs all day that motion of full or even half, but certainly full range will kick your butt if done more than two or three dozen in a row especially without stretching after.

HAHA! Oblivious? Should I be insulted?

When would I EVER need to defend myself physically??? Gosh! It would be hard to go through life pulling back in exercise just in case I make my muscles too sore and can't defend myself in case of an attack? Heeeeee.

My motto is give 120% in everything you do, and sometimes that doesn't translate well in exercise but whatever, at least I'm not wasting my time with 30 minutes of mild effort!

I can only remember once in my life when I was able to do them. But it's a huge indicator of core strength, and strength in general. So it's something I'm striving for.
