home made energy bar recipe?

Looking for a recipe for homemade energy bars!
I LOVE luna bars and used to eat them every day but they are SO expensive, high in sugar and processed junk.
Would love to make my own!
Anyone?

I've made homemade granola bars...I don't have the exact recipe but it is 1:1 peanut butter and honey warm in a pan until melted together. Then I mixed peanuts, whole oats and rice crispies in a bowl and then mixed in the peanut butter and honey, spread in a pan and refrigerated until hard then cut apart into bars.

I like Alton Brown's recipe you can use any protein powder you like and change it up.

I dont know if this really classifys as an energy bar, but i have heard good things about this recipe.

If the bars fall apart it is suppost to be a good cereal thats grain free. If you want grain in it, I am sure its not hard to add.
