Any recommendations for a cheap heart rate monitor? I'm a college student so my budget is pretty low. Brand, model, ebay vs amazon vs store. Any help is welcome! Just trying to figure out how many calories I actually burn in my exercises. Thanks

I would go with a reliable brand, I use Polar and have the FT60 and love mine... It is alittle costly but for you I would recommend either the FT7 or FT4 both very good models...
FT7- The Pink for women is 74.44 with free shipping..

FT4- The Purple for women is 62.49 with free shipping

I'm also on a budget but wanted a good HRM. I did my research and narrowed my choices down to a Polar or a New Balance N4. Then I searched eBay for auctions for new items of each, and put them on my watchlist. The New Balance came up first, and I scored a brand new one, inthe box with instructions, for $26. They retails for $70, so that was a good savings. I've had it for months, it works great!
You might have to be patient with eBay, but you can score a great deal there.0
