Do Omega-3 Softgels ever cause allergic reactions?

I've been trying to figure out why on earth I've been getting random red bumps on my body. I've cleaned my apartment for the past week, I can rule out bed bugs. I don't know if it is an allergic reaction to Omega-3 Softgels that I've been taking. Would it ever be possible to get an allergic reaction to Omega-3 supplements?!? These bumps are driving me nuts! I've tried calamine lotion as well and it doesn't work. It just feels like a random invisible insect at night bites me in bed and its very frustrating!!

If it is fish oil and you have a seafood allergy, you could be reacting to the Omega-3's. I have a friend who is deathly allergic to seafood to the point she needs to carry an epi-pen in case some random seafood comes in contact with her food. Omega-3's from seafood will definitely make her react.0
