Okay....that past couple days I've been running, my HRM will stop working and drop to 00. It seems to do it when I pick up pace. Does anyone else have this problem????? Its not showing me an accurate calorie burned number when it does it.

Does it have a return policy? or exchange? Sounds like it's defective to me, but maybe other people will have a settings answer for you, I'm not sure

Mine does that sometimes if I don't put it on tight enough and my sports bra slips under the sensors so there no longer touching my skin. Not sure if that was your problem though.

    Mine does that occasionally.

It could be a number of things...

    - Assuming you are using a chest-strap. As you pick up the pace it may have shifted and lost connection to your heartbeat.

    - Your batteries are getting low. Mine dropped to zero most frequently for this, a quick change of batteries and it was sorted. This happened on my older model, and since picking up my exercise on a new FT80 after only 3 months. It is entirely possible to use up a battery in this timeframe, especially your first set as you don't know how long they have been installed before purchase.

Replacements are pretty cheap. I'd go with that first, and check your strap position as well. Might be worth a tighten up.

    3 Things-
Make sure the strap is wet enough
Make sure the strap is tight enough
Wash the strap in a machine with detergent only.. no fabric softener and hang dry.

Those should fix your issues.. and if not, then try replacing the battery in the transmitter.

My Polar does that when my batteries are running low. Time to change them.
