Tea in oatmeal? Opinions?

Options
So, I heard green tea was a good add to the healthy lifestyle. I bought regular and +pomegranate varieties. I like the regular just fine but the +pomegranate flavor has an undertone that reminds me of bubblegum and I find this too unsettling to drink. SO, I am sitting here with a whole box of green tea bags I am not going to use.

It occurred to me that I could add a bag to the almond milk I use to make my oatmeal in the mornings while it heats (before the oats go in) Since I add berries and nuts, I can not even tell a difference in taste.

Would you say the green tea goodness is steeped into the almond milk, or is almond milk too thick (compared to water) for any tea to get in there?

If you like it, do it.

Yes, the tea would be in the milk.

There is some indication that adding milk to your tea decreases the benefits. That's cow's milk - I don't know if almond milk or other subtitutes have the same effect, but you might want to research it. On the other hand, while it may or may not be helping, it won't hurt you.
