Just "joined" MFP this morning!
A little about me....
I was a skinny kid and a thin teen.
Got married at a very young age, and started gaining weight.
Would yo-you diet for years.
Went through a divorce, lost weight.
Re-married.....weight came back on.
I decided the other day, that I was tired of not feeling comfortable in my own skin and all the pity parties on the couch was not going to make it any better.
I made a short term goal for the next 60 days. I will exercise every day and watch my food intake. Change my eating habits to more fresh and protien and less carbs.....I am a carb junkie!
Since Friday I have run/waked 2.7 miles per day.....and eaten healthy!
Age 43
Starting weight is 155
My eventual goal weight is between 120-125.
This is a great site! I hope to gain some encouragement along the way!

Feel free to add me as a friend (even though I'm a Packer fan!!). I'm looking to lose around 20 lbs (40 would be ideal, but I'm a little curvy anyway). I'm around 158 right now, and would like to be just below 140. I know part of it is due to medication, but the other part is due to lack of motivation to push myself in workouts, etc. I'm a married mom of two and need some energy to keep up with my active family!0
