It's amazing! I've just recently gotten into it and wow. Not only does it taste amazing, but there are so many different kinds to choose from (at least where I go) and there are tonnes of herbal teas that have many health benefits as well. I just wanted to share that and see how many other people have discovered the joy of drinking real loose tea. I've been researching it for a while now and I never knew how much crap was in bagged tea. I guess I never thought of it. I've been drinking lots of green teas lately and if anyone wants a suggestion on a really great tasting tea to try I would have to say get your hands on some Kyoto Cherry Rose! It's a Japanese Sencha green tea and it's certified organic at the place I get it from so it's just that much better. What a difference in flavour and just the overall feeling I get from drinking these teas. Amazing!

I love loose tea. If you get a tea infuser, just put the loose tea in it and brew it as you would with a bag.
  • Yes I use infusers... I dont have a tea press and I prefer to infuse one cup at a time. it's great stuff...

here's where I go, this is their website:

Thanks for the website! :D My favorite teas are black teas.
  • I love loose tea. I don't think I've found one that I didn't like.

My favourites have to be Cargo & James's Earl Grey (so full of the bergamot fragrance), and kind of white tea (i used to get this beautiful celyon organic stuff from our farmer's market) and the Tea Emporium's Daydreamer herbal tea (my friend Heather says it makes her feel dopey it's so relaxing)

I had a friend this summer who, whenever he felt that something was missing he would stop reading, put his book down, think very hard for a moment, and the perk up hollering "Tea!"
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE loose tea. Got hooked on it about 5 years ago when a small tea shop opened across the street from where I work. She showed me how to properly brew a cup of tea and let me sample so many different kinds (black, green, red). Once hooked - she closed the shop. But found an awesome store a few towns away from me in Vero Beach, Florida that is really awesome ( teaandchi.com ) ; if I can't make it to the shop, they ship quickly (they know the importance of not running out of tea!).

It just has so much more flavor. I really like a Scottish Breakfast black tea and an rooibos tea called Afrikaans. Glad to here someone else is as infatuated with loose tea as I am!
