You will need:
Roughly 175g of frozen raspberries
A quarter (50g) of extra light Philadelphia
Sweetner
A dash of honey or vanilla essence.
A sturdy hand mixer! (A blender won't work)
Combine all your ingredients in a bowl and attack it with your hand mixer. You might want to cover it with a towel so the raspberries stay inside! Just keep mixing it until it turns into a thick, creamy consistency, like ice cream. The reason we don't use a blender is that it makes it into smoothie. Voila!
This makes enough for two people, but honestly it's so low calorie that I just eat it all myself ^^ I hear it works well with strawberries too, and I like to make a banana version except that ramps up the cals. You can also add things to it like nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit, syrup or sauce, etc. Personally, I like it best (for a real treat) with a broken up Special K Chewy Delight bar mixed in and with a scoop or two of Carte D'or Vanilla Light. Mmm.
If anybody is interested in the banana recipe, you do exactly the same thing but minus the philly, honey and sweetner, although perhaps with a spoon of peanut butter instead. Mmmm. Freeze the banana in small chunks for about 1-2 hours prior to mixing.
