Couch to 5k - How much did you loose?

I'm doing the couch to 5 k program, on week 2 and so far so good. I'm trying my best to watch what I eat, but not as diligent as I should be about posting the calories. I want to loose about 15 lbs. Just wondered, if all I do is the couch to 5k, and then get into running a few miles every other day, is that enough of an exercise routine? I have very limited time as I have 3 kids, work and a hubby so this fits in fine for me.
