Cross/Elliptical Trainer Stitches

Hi!
I do interval training on the Cross/Elliptical Trainer and recently am working on 38/40 RPM on my slow and 65-70 RPM on my fast minutes for 25 minutes.
Recently I've been getting stitches roughly on the 15th-16th and it's just not in my nature to stop get rid of it and then get back on to the rest of the time. I tend to try and breathe deeply as possible during the slow minutes and and aim for 50 RPM but sometimes they last the rest of the time others they go in a minute or so.
Either way they're effecting the efficiency of my work out, so any tips anyone can suggest? Thank you
