I have been super hungry all day today and been eating almost constantly without feeling like it was even taking the edge off. When I got home I was so hungry I caved and ate some of the Chinese take out that was in the fridge. Way over my calories, fat and sodium now! I feel super heavy and gross. Going to give myself some time to veg out and then do shred. Will not let this derail me! Going to get back on track tomorrow!

That's the spirit, Ruby! We have our bad days/moments. It is what it is. Each fresh second gives us an opportunity to make better decisions. Each second that you are able to take the high road is a success. In the long run, hopefully we opt for more high roads, than low and success is the result. So veg out....then shred it! lol Tomorrow is a new day...you haven't derailed....rather a small hiccup in what is meant to be a lifelong journey. Cheers, and keep on keepin' on!

Were you tired? When we don't get enough sleep, that can trigger our brains to tell us we are hungry because we are lacking energy. Also, check your emotions; is something literally "eating at you?" Find the causes for your binging behavior, and you can make the proper corrections to change it! Sometimes we just feel more hungry than usual and that's okay too. Just keep your weekly totals in check and you should do just fine! Good luck to you!!

Don't worry about it. Giving into today's regret makes it harder to get up tomorrow. I'm proud of you, keep it up!

There is a really good book out called Food Rules by Michael Pollan, and he basically says there are some certain rules to live by when choosing foods like choose raw foods verses processed, etc. Anyway, at the very end, the last rule is to "Do everything in moderation, including moderation." That has become my motto in eating! In other words, eat proper portions of the proper foods MOST of the time, but a natural part of the cycle is to say screw it and do what you want! LOL The important part is enjoying your binge, and getting right back to the diet tomorrow! Don't feel guilty about it. It's a natural part of the dieting cycle. :) You should check out the book! It has taught me a lot about the types of foods I want and need to eat. I literally read it in a day! It's a quick read!

Thanks for the support everyone! Encouragement always helps!

Kitten - I think being more aware of how much sleep I'm getting is a good idea.

Dinoskycm - I will take a look at that book, thanks!

We all have days like that! One day won't hurt you overall! I figure it means that my body is missing some vitamin or nutrient and it won't be satisfied until I eat whatever it's missing.

That was me yesterday lol, don't worry about it as long as you know you can get back on track

Yesterday i just caved by mid day. Was feeling sorry for myself for certain reasons and cause it's time of the month, seriously wanted chocolate so i just though 'sod it'. Started scoffing a medium sized chocolate bar, then bought a 5 pack of custard donuts and the piggining out went on. Woke up feeling sluggish but as they day is going on i feel better. Gunna get a workout in at some point today too. Days like this are fine when you know you can get straight back on it the next day

Hi! I know how you feel! I had a little bit of wedding cake on Saturday and was extremely hungry about an hour afterward. Maybe it was a sugar crash? I stayed with my program the rest of the day, but felt "off", certainly not as satisfied as usual.

I try to eat about every two hours and it's helping to keep my blood sugar on an even keel, maybe a sugar free yogurt and 1/4 c. of Flax4Life cereal or oatmeal with fruit. Maybe a little protein like 2 oz. of chicken or turkey and some veg or fruit. Keeping hydrated and eating plenty of complex carbohydrates (with that all-important fiber) helps me.

Don't become discouraged because you had one of those days. Pick yourself up, and get going again! You can do this just one day at a time. You are unique, the only You that has ever existed. You are worth the time and effort. Your health is more important now than ever. Come on, girl, let's do the weight loss journey together! Friend me if you want.
