How should I weigh mashed potatoes

I dont know if I should weigh them cooked or uncooked

    i'm a bit of a control freak, so i would weigh the potatose once they're boiled (there's usually a 'boiled, drained, no salt' option in the database), then add on whatever you mash them with individually
