it has been my experience, that almost all of my physical ailments, including the fact that i am underweight.. have been related to emotional problems..for example, when im stressed, sad, angry etc etc i turn away from food, others are the opposite and to turn to food for comfort.. just like my hubby. I am currently working on the physical sides of things, and my emotional pain body too....are you guys doing the same and if so what emotional healing techniques do you use? or have you even thought about it?

yes i have been reading about meditation, however i find my mind always wanders to the land of fairytales and unicorns...as much as i try to stay conciously aware of my breathing...i am getting better though...its just taking practice0 -
Weight and emotional health are definitely related. When my Grandma died back in 2008, I gained 30 lbs in 2 months. I also pulled a muscle in my back twice during that period. I lost 16 lbs from that weight gain, then my Dad passed away last January, and I gained it all right back again! Having somebody to talk to, to help you work through your issues is really important. A lot of long talks and encouragement from my hubby got me back on track. Once I started working out again, I started to feel better both physically and emotionally. Plus, the people that I lost would want me to live a healthy life.0
