I want to walk, but I just got diagnosed with tendinitis in BOTH FEET. One is worse than the other, but still can't exercise. I'm eating a vegan diet (Eat to Live program) so that I can get the weight off quickly and avoid surgery. I'm aiming to lose 70 pounds and pretty frustrated, even though I'm down 9 pounds from where I was. If I could work out I would lose more quickly. I'm a kindergarten teacher, so crutches STINK, and I might be casted in both feet later this week and then what? I have three kids and a whole classroom and house full of responsibilities. *sigh*

Eat to Live is veggies and fruit only, no grains or starchy vegetables or meat or dairy, for six weeks. It is okay to do, and I'm happy with the new eating habits, but I may run out of ideas, and I really need to get my weight down quickly so I can walk again. There is no pool close enough to swim in.

Anybody doing this program or in a similar situation?
