I just started a weightlifting routine. Today will be day 2. I'm curious if I should up my protein intake on days I lift. Acoording to the guidelines here it says 57g per day.

Yes definitely. 57g isn't enough for anyone other than a child. You should eat about 0.8-1g of protein per pound of bodyweight.0

Set your goals to 40% protein 40% carb and 20% fat..
I build and eat about 230g of protein a day

I think you should up your protein EVERY day, even on rest days. Like 1-2g per lb that you weight (i do 1g/lb).0

like what was already stated, eat at least 1 gram per pound of lean body weight, there are calculators all over the internet to help you determine what your lean body weight is, also don't take in more protein on just lifting days, make it a consistent everyday thing.0
