Here's what I've been doing in a nutshell:

10/31/11 - Made the decision to start losing weight. Weight: 294 lbs
1/14/12 - Go from Class III to Class II Obesity with weight at 261.4lbs
1/16/12 - Began c25k program
3/12/12 - Purchased road bike to begin training for triathlon
3/17/12 - Participating in Warrior Dash 5k Mud Run (55:39.50)
3/23/12 - Joined a gym specifically for access to pool
3/24/12 - Participated in 5k run (32:35)
4/2/12 - Completed c25k program / Began B210k program
4/7/12 - Go from Class II to Class I Obesity with weight at 228.6 lbs
4/18/12 - Swam first non-stop mile in a pool
5/16/12 - Completed B210k program
5/26/12 - Participated in The Original Mud Run 10k (1:43:03.5)
6/3/12 - Participated in Tejas Sprint Triathlon 600/20k/5k (14:34.8/1:48.1/43:06.1/0:32.5/33:01.5=1:33:03.1)
7/4/12 - First meaningful distance bike ride at 28 miles
7/9/12 - Ran 15k distance for first time
7/27/12 - Completed first Ironman distance non-stop swm
8/5/12 - Completed half-marathon distance (13.1 miles) for first time
8/12/12 - Completed 100km bike ride for first time


I'm getting close to a full year of living a better lifestyle and I'm trying to break the 100 lbs lost barrier, break into Onederland, and to cross the line out of Obesity and into "just" being overweight by my 1 yr anniversary. Between now and then I have an Olympic triathlon and a half-marathon I will be competing in.

    I have seen your progress on BuddySlim and am very impressed. Keep going! One of my dreams is to complete a half-marathon too. Good luck with your events!
